How does one get a job as a bank teller if they require banking experience?

pookiepoo - 2008-04-19 18:53:44 - Personal Finance

If they require banking experience how do you get the experience in the first place?

Best Answer:

Work at a different bank that doesn't require banking experience? Maybe working as a cashier in a department or grocery store will give you some needed experience? If not then you need some connections and have someone pull you in.

Well, you may go to your nearest one-stop career service provider the services here are completely free and nationwide you can locate one at http://servicelocator.org, this services are provided by the Department of Labor thru the States. The reason I am telling you is because they can place you where you can gain enough experience to work at bank as a teller or give you some training either way they will be able to tell you what you need and they will help you get a job in a bank......sometimes is good to just put your feet in the door, and work yourself up to that position.
