This depends. How regular are your periods? Are they always on time, or does it start when it feels like it? For me, I was never ever late! I knew the day i didn't get my period i was prego! But if you are irregular, you may want to try a pregnancy test to be sure. Note though, just because it says negative it does not mean that you aren't pregnant! I would suggest though, if you take a test and still aren't satisfied with the result, see your doctor! (It's better than worrying and going crazy over it!)

I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was 8 1/2 weeks and finally missed a whole period because I had implantation bleeding and thought it was my normal period. I waited until I was 5 days late with no sign of blood at all and it came back positive.

about 3 weeks. the and 1st and second week could probably be due to the fact that you're stressing over your period not being there.
